Missing Piece~

I read this devotion which really speaks to my heart.
It is the relationship that matters.
It was saying that what is missing Most in ministry are
people... who are Willing to build relationships
We tend to do so much for the Lord, saying that we are serving and working for Him, no matter how successful your event is, no matter how big your church may be, what's important to the people is
Someone, who is willing to stay back,
sit down with them and
start asking them "How are you?",
someone, who is willing to listen to them and
at least notice that they are actually facing come challenges in their life.

It is such a simple and minute piece that is missing... which makes a Large Difference!


The missing piece IS RELATIONSHIP.
Your Care and Sincerity towards the people.
Something so simple, yet many of us fail to do.


sometimes, we have to learn to Slow Down, Breathe In,
and Think...
am I being selfish by just caring for my own self interest?
or am I care-less towards what's going on in my friends' life?
am I thinking that, let them do what they want, who am I to invade and why is it important for me to know what they are going through?
they did not tell me so it is not my obligation to ask and know.
just live a life of simplicity and only care about my own business is the safest!
after all, if i were to care for them, who is there to care for me?

Wait! Stop there, and Let me tell you that YOU're So Wrong!!

You say you wanna serve God, you say you love your neighbor as yourself,
but yet you say you don't have time to even care for your friends, and it's not your duty to know about their life.......

God says
LOVE them
CARE for them

Remembering that,

You don't have to serve Him by impacting the whole world,
In fact, you've impacted Your world, by Caring for the ones around.

One measure of our likeness to Christ
is our sensitivity to the needs of others.

People do not care how Much you know,
until they know how Much you CARE.
