oh my gosh! cant' believe that i totally forgotten about my new student conference yesterday! T.T *groan*
aiks. too comfortable with easy life back then that's why.
sheesh! luckily the department is good enough to allow me to join another conference on Aug 24th. hopefully there won't be any side-effects to joining late.
i know my course registration is supposedly today, but since i've not been to the conference, i can't register yet O.O *pull hair* maybe i'll just stick to the courses that they provide. afterall, this is just my first sem. don't be too choosy yet lar, i guess? *sigh*
oh yea, there's this one funny scene today. my friend brought me to Hobby Lobby. goodness! Madonna would love it over there. then i went Ross later on. the things over there is. C.H.E.A.P! it's crazy to shop in US. really.
oh okay,the scene. so, my friend brought me there to buy bedsheet and comforter and we left it in the cart (trolley). and we walked elsewhere to look for an umbrella while leaving the cart at the other side of the rack. and when we're back, there's this lady who claimed that the cart is hers. Hello? our things are inside. funny betul. then my friend kind of told her of that if she wants it, she can take it, but we know for sure that that cart is ours. that lady still think it's hers though. haha. for a cart. somemore it's FOC to just get another cart. *shrug*
and my friend told me that she know for sure that that lady is not local (from College Station) since she's rude. and CS people will not behave like that. hahaha!
oh and i've found out a lot of things from these few friends of mine. they're cool! <3
American football is a big thing over here and it's a yearly thing. only happens in Fall.
so the night before the football, they have this midnight yell where you go attend to learn how to cheer for our team. and it's a big thing too! people will just flow into the stadium from everywhere.
and to my surprise, TAMU is the host for usual football events. All uni football team will fly over to our place for the competition. cool!
oh ya, and for the midnight yell, by almost the end of it, they will switch off the lights and you're supposed to grab the guy/girl next to you and give them a kiss. hahah!

and my friend had her own shocking experience last year. that's just so funny!
