Leadership Nuggets #1

I was blessed to be able to attend the Global Leadership Summit 2017 for FREE!
It was a super expensive ticket of course but someone donated 5 tickets to TTC and since nobody took it, as last minute as it was, I went for it.

 For the next few postings, I'll be sharing some take-aways I've received from #GLS2017 :)

EMBRACING RISKS
Don't procrastinate to pull the trigger to the things God had placed in your heart.

The only way you'll be entrusted with bigger things is when you...

1. Enlarge your vision
Stay focus and allow your horizon to get bigger
If your vision is to keep what you have, you won't see those opportunities around you.
Passionary= visionary  with a passion

2. Empower your people
Leadership is about taking one's chances and giving people opportunities, despite your past experiences
Before you empower them, focus on building character

3. Embrace Risk
Risk (marketplace) = Faith (ministry)

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Without taking risk, it is impossible to please God.

When you take risk out of leadership, you move from pioneering to preserving/maintaining.

Risk= friend to love; not enemy to fear

"Don't allow the fear of losing what you have, to make you lose what God has for you"

"Don't allow earthly practicalities to make you lose the heavenly possibilities"

Enlarge your pain threshold.
Don't procrastinate to pull the trigger to the things God had placed in your heart.

Practical steps to live it out:

1. Make a list of all your dreams/visions
2. Time frame to do it
3. Name of person who will hold you accountable
