Good teachers care about whether their student learn or not
they can't be focused on what they do, but what their students are doing
"Ok now that you've known that, so How does it work in your life?"

Tension is absolutely indispensable to the process of growing.

Have clear-cut objectives for your teaching:
1. Teach them how to think
You've got to know how to think yourself first
disturb their equilibrium, challenge them to think

2. Teach people how to learn
Big picture- detail -big picture
Always start with telling them the big picture so they'll have a full idea

3. Teach people how to work
Don't do for them what they can do for themselves
Spend more time questioning answers than answering questions
It's better to let students leave your class with more questions, so they'll start finding answers about it and talking about it, than just yawn and forgot what you taught


something that can be put into habit:
Have stimulating discussions with your partner/children/friends about what you're reading

A good teacher is a good listener

Ideas must be rethought, experience must be re-experienced.
