Goal In Life

"Right Believing leads to Right Living."

If our faith is off, our walk will be off.

 If our walk is off, we need to take a good look at what we believe. 

Anger, Anxiety and Depression signals that we are hoping something will happen, but we have no guarantee it will, we have no complete control over the results. 

Depression often signals that we are desperately clinging to a goal we have little or no chance of achieving, and that is Not a healthy goal. 

Sometimes, it just takes realization that this goal may be beyond our ability or right to control. 

Sometimes, depression reveals a faulty concept of God. 

If God wants something done, can it be done? 

If God has a goal for our life, can it come true? 

"Nothing will be impossible with God" (Luke 1:37)

To live successful lives, we need to distinguish our godly goal from a godly desire.

godly goal= 

(something we can control)

godly desire= 

(something we can't control) 

When we begin to align our goals with God's goals and our desires with God's desires, we will rid our life of a lot of anger, anxiety and depression. 

God's Basic Goal For Our Life is character development:

BECOMING THE PERSON GOD WANTS US TO BE. 

Trials and tribulations reveal wrong goals, but they can actually be the catalyst for achieving God's goal for our lives. They can be our sanctification. 

Is there an easier way to being God's person than through enduring tribulations? 

The Fertile Soil for GROWTH is always down in the valleys of tribulation, Not on the mountaintops.

Change one letter, then I see

That the thwarting of my purpose

Is God's better choice for me.

His appointment must be blessing,

Tho' it may come in disguise,

For the end from the beginning

  Open to His wisdom lies.

Treasures of His love untold,

Well He knows each broken purpose

Leads to fuller, deeper trust,

And the end of all His dealings

Proves our God is wise and just.

Yielding wholly to Thy touch.

All my life's plan in Thy moulding,

Not one single choice be mine;

Let me answer, unrepining --

"Father, not my will, but Thine."
