A Prayer I Pray
This has been a prayer I pray before leading worship or preaching or serving in any ways that may consciously or subconsciously boost my pride and steal God's glory.
"Dear God,
May I be a mirror, reflecting all Your Glory back to You.
In Jesus' Name I pray,
Amen."
A plane mirror. Such that I keep NO Glory of His at all.

I like the analogy of an optical fibre, Total Internal Reflection. A conduit rather than a mirror.

DeleteHow would you explain this analogy? A reflection back to God and then back to me and where does it channel to?
Deletenode <---> conduit (optical fibre) <---> node
DeleteGod <---> me <---> others
I keep nothing ah.
