1. I want to visit Israel so badly! (One day!! :) okay, well, I'm taking a Near Eastern Religion class which requires us to read Qu'ran and study the 3 religions which contains lots of similarities as well as differences: Judaism, Christianity, Islam. I just had a 1 hour 15 min of intense lesson of the whole history of the built-up of Judaism (1st, 2nd Jewish commonwealth) and everything just mesmerized me! so much. 2. I have a physics assignment to be turned in today and I haven't started anything on it. + 2 physics assignment to be turned in tomorrow + few internship essays to be completed by Sunday + a 'date-rape-drug' kinesiology outline by Tues+ a wedding to attend + a lesson to plan for + few songs to prepare + a baking session + a catch-up with my girls! + career advising appointment + more internships essay and application + sit-ups and push-ups everyday! 1) I overslept today! (Sunday morning) It's the first time throughout my 1.5years here. Alarm didn't ring! (yea right, blame it on the alarm) and I totally slept right through the whole 9.15am service, only woke up at 11.20am when the Sunday school supervisor called me. I flipped open my phone, glanced through the time and answered "Hello. Oh my goodness! what's the time now? Is it 11am already? I was still sleeping!" thank God I got to catch on with teaching at 11.55pm till 12.30pm (half an hour! ha! better than none) 2) I was studying with this korean friend of mine yesterday for half of the day. 2.3opm-12am I was kind of tutoring H in chemistry. He offered to pay tutoring fee but nope, I didn't want it. afterall, i can study as well and accepting tutoring fee somehow gave me the burden to be super prepared. I just wanted to teach for fun and I earn a study buddy afterall. Later on I was treated to a Korean restaurant for dinner. yum yum! I like Korean food....

Just went to Go Missions and Breakaway just now. thousands of students gathering at Kyle Field (stadium) praising and worshiping God. He is awesome and totally worth praising! This week is the Global Impact week where everyday, there'll be different workshops, conference, concert concerning mission works all over the world. This year's theme was focused on Christianity and Islam. Sadly I can't make it for the breakout sessions but at least I get to go today for the opening. and it was GRrrrrreat!! Talked to my dad yesterday and found out about the recent Government Transformation Program in Malaysia under Dato Sri Idris Jala. Checked it out online and find it quite interesting. Though I'm not sure about the detailed job description but overall, it's an effort to improving different aspects of the government progress & country. Today's class in Psychology of Women, we had a panel of guest speakers from the GLBT association (Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender) It is a "Guess who is gay" seminar So there were 5 students sitting in a row, we (students in the class) were allowed to ask any kind of questions except whether they like men/women/both. and so, from our observation and their answers to our questions, we were to determine what sexual orientation they are. The panel is asked to leave the room and we went on with our discussion on why we think that he is gay/she is straight... when the panel came in, they revealed their real sexual orientation. It is an interesting session. and the purpose is clearly to eliminate discrimination towards this group of people and to allow us as a society to understand more about them.
