Blessed Steps

I paid for my ring and WOLA! I'm getting it on the 14th of September! :D Took me quite some time to decide whether to get the pure gold or antique.  The pure ring definitely look more feminine and classy on a lady's hand.  But antique makes the design and carving stands out. That, is one of the main reasons why I wanna buy my ring- as a symbol of memories, of what Texas A&M University means to me. So, I decided that I want to be able to see the carvings and tell my kids of what it meant to be an Aggie :) Antique it is! Let's see where I left out from... Hmm, since April, 1. I got back my Spring semester results. Meh. Not satisfying but not surprising either. Will try harder/smarter next time around 2. Went to Florida and came back. Met my dear friend and her friends (mostly Malaysians!) and for the longest time since I came here, I feel that I'm interacting with real bunch of Malaysians again. I miss that interaction when you can just say anything, in any language, in anyway, without trying too hard to explain yourself and you just CLICK! how I've forgotten about that. and now I miss it. 3. Whoosh! Just came back from watching Titanic in 3D+XD+RealD sounds like a real deal right!? haha. but actually not much of a difference other than bigger screen and more comfortable seat, and definitely more expensive tickets! I really did choose a good date to watch it! :P Out of 2223 people, 1514 of them died. there weren't enough life boats of the ship (due to non-updated maritime safety regulation rules) and the ship is myth-ed to be unsinkable. Aloha! Can't believe it's almost the end of the semester. Counting down...1, 2, 3 more weeks! 3 more weeks till finals and then I'm Done!! I am a'Junior, going to be a'Senior! *sings with the tune "16 going on 17"* Whoop! It's funny how optimistic I can be though I just walked out of a deadly exam hall an hour ago. turned in some deadly exam sheets and pray hard that I will pass the course :/ I am actually not sad. just don't know what to feel anymore. These 2 little bottles burnt a mega hole in my pocket the small bottle of eye-drop costs $139.99 the Simpson's mom bottle costs $152.99 without taking into account Claritin Allergy pills which costs $10+ I'm already broke. What's good about it is that after purchasing my medicine, I just went window-shopping without spending a single cent in Old Navy. So proud of myself huh! (simply because i'm broke) Oh, and I definitely wanna thank my roommate for being such a kind soul!! She brought me to the clinic, pharmacy (several times), HEB and Old Navy (heh!) can't ask for more.

Allergy is killing me!! I have pretty much heard about allergies ever since I came to Texas. running nose, flu, sneezing... all are classified under allergies. and I was confused! those are symptoms of getting a cold or fever! Do the Americans just use another term for catching a cold? (like how they call rubbish bin: trash can, toilets: bathroom/restrooms, soft toys: stuffed animals, and the list can go on forever...) Well, I have been here for 1 year and 7 months. and I have never had any allergies until Now! Boooo to allergies! Now I get what they meant: Allergy really meant allergy and it happens more frequently during Spring when all the plants are starting to bloom and pollen flies everywhere (especially into your nose and eyes) and it makes your nose go running, eyes go itching and watering and all sticky (yucks!), throat goes hurting, body goes aching and lethargy haunt you down! and guess what, this will last for the whole Spring!!! Thank God Texas is more known for the Summer...
