Blessed Steps

I think I'm starting to feel it... I just had my final dinner with my classmates. for the one last time. people who had struggled with me. helped me through courses after courses. shared answers, solutions, life and what not. One of those whom I spent the most time with for all my years here. There's this thought, that I should have spent more time hanging out with them outside of school too. At the same time, I was trying to sell the rest of my Physics textbooks but there are no shops that would take them because they are international editions,  so one of my classmates suggested me to donate it to the Physics building,  he dropped me to the Physics building after dinner and I wrote down my name on the cover page, slipped the few textbooks into the pile of Physics books in the helpdesk. I woke up this morning realizing "Gosh! I'm graduating today" It's an indescribable feeling. I felt like 'This is it!" I've never woke up being much excited about anything at all. Not my travel trips, not getting my results, not going to the National Service or big events happening. But this is it. It's like everything that I had strive for academically is coming to an end, wrapping it up. Kudos to those who'd decided to not end it here, and continue for their graduate school. But for me, at least, I feel that it's coming to an end for Physics.  :D ;D Thinking of how I've struggled through physics step by step, ever since the first 'C' i got in my first ever college physics class. Simple one I just got baptized today! :D and I am really happy about it :) Very thankful for all my wonderful friends who showed up just to witness my baptism.  so touched :') The church, the kids and the parents of the kids too appreciated and congratulated me for my baptism, graduation and teaching. Got so many gifts from them which was just not anything that I've expected.  It's amazing how much I've been blessed by just serving with and among them. Just like the phrase that I've heard from Perspectives " You made a decision, and the decision will turn around and make you." This is a rather lengthy post regarding interpretation of the bible and different cultures. Please proceed reading if you are interested; otherwise, stay tuned for the next normal, picturesque post :) Just came back from Perspectives and learnt about church planting. Why? and How? One thing that the preacher talked about which really stayed with me is that "The Bible is an Eastern Book". It is a book wrote based on the Eastern culture but we are trying to interpret it from a Western perspective. In the Eastern world, it is all about spending time with each other to build relationships. That's why most gatherings come with meals and meals can take up to a couple hours to half a day. In the western world, time is money, time is precious, time is everything. Nobody stayed on to fellowship after the church, after church everyone went on separate ways. I am very excited about my baptism especially when I found out that two other wonderful friends of mine (fellow Sunday school teachers :D ) have decided to get baptized on the very same day as me! Whoop! Can't express how happy I am. It's just like a spiritual birth, feels like I'm going to have them as my spiritual brother and sister :D We are asked to share our stories of how we came to Christ before getting baptized, and I have been working on my testimony and there's just some refining work to do now. I'm a little disappointed that some of them wouldn't be able to witness my baptism that weekend, but regardless, I've told them that I'll do some video recording and keep them updated in that way. I learnt how to crochet for the first time! Thanks to a certain master for his 5 hours of patience! little cute bows for hair accessories. I made the yellow one; While waiting for my first accomplishment,  he made the other 3 (blue, grey, and pink). I gave 3 of them each to my roommates and they simple love it. :D I had my monthly student worker meeting this Friday and it is the student-worker-Appreciation day this time! We get cupcakes with batman rings on them. Since i'm one of those who're graduating this semester, I got my certificate of awesome student worker from my supervisor. We did a simple game: everyone had a piece of blank cardboard paper, we write our own names in the middle and pass it around the table for everyone to write some words of appreciation for us. There's nice words passing around like friendly, fun, responsible, friendly, cool and all... but apparently, when I got my paper back, I get a lot of remarks as being 'Sweet', ...
