Blessed Steps

A Time to celebrate that this special friend that I have... is ALIVE!! :D Celebrating the life of a friend? That might sound a little weird. But He is more than a friend, He made the universe and everything in it, He made me, He gives me my awesome family :) He gives me my life, my breath, my talents, my friends, my opportunities, my purpose... I love the little game that we played yesterday in ICF where we are given an Easter egg each and when we opened it, there is a little symbolic toy representing part of the resurrection story. My partner and I got 3 pieces of silver coins in our Easter egg. We figured, that represented Judas Iscariot's betrayal and how he had received 30 pieces of silver coins in exchange of Jesus' life. We then show our toy to everyone and arrange ourselves according to the sequence of the happenings. When we're all done, the sequence comes out to be: 1. donkey : Jesus rode on a donkey to enter Jerusalem where the people is shouting ...

I'm currently in Easterwood airport waiting to board my flight to Pittsburgh. Plans for the break: to catch up with three beautiful ladies whom I've not seen for awhile!  Excited to see them,but at the same time, as I step into the airport where I've landed 3years ago , memories flashed back on how I traveled all the way across the sea for college and how God had been faithful to me in every circumstances through happy and crappy. :) here's some pictures of the lovely ladies I'm meeting :  With Maddie in McD when she came for a visit in Texas for Winter break in 2010. That's right! I'm crossing out the numbers day-by-day!! I can hardly believe that January 2013 is over! I'm very aware that this will be a year of change and of decisions. How am I feeling about this? I'm actually very excited and looking forward to my graduation. Praise God for the trip back to Malaysia in December. I think I'm ready to wrap things up in Texas and return for good :) Reading back my letter to God in 2010, I prayed to be sent to somewhere where He can equip me for the future: for whatever and wherever He wants me to be in the future. I told myself and Him that these 3 years in America will be years of training, equipping and molding. Today, I am not sure yet how well-equipped I am but I know that I have definitely come to know Jesus better personally. Yea~uh! Just came home from a 7pm exam (it's 12.05am now) and it's on a Friday night! Remind me, What life does a physics student have again? But I'm in a good mood though. Cos I think I did pretty well in the exam :D Quantum Mechanics II Thank God for considerate and patient professor. He stayed with us for the whole 5 hour+ (when I leave at 11.35ish, there's still 1 more student working on his paper) He pointed out errors and gave relevant tips and that helps tremendously!!! Though generally, he's really not that good at lecturing, but his patience and willingness to help encourages me to carry a self-learning attitude for his class. On the contrary, there's another prof who's really good in lecturing (when it comes to explaining concept on the board, i have to give him props in that), but he's mean. 1. Living with awesome roommates make all the difference! Whenever I go home and Holla, there's someone who'll come out to cheer me up. Someone to watch movie with, share my 'highlights' of the day with, hang out with, eat with and even feeds me at times! I find it so funny when I get her text today which says "Hey idk what time im getting home but if your hungry you can make the noodles or the chicken is still in the fridge with mash potatoes" I was amused by the fact that she's actually thinking about what i'm gonna eat since she won't be home early! Too good to be true. But it's true though, cos I have awesome roommate! 2. Praise God for the opportunity to be able to take part in a Biomedical Physics research. I guess this is one of the incidents where I shall say 'There's got to be too many coincidences to be a coincidence'. It has to be God at work!
