Blessed Steps

It's Fall 2013! I was browsing through my Photo Albums from Fall 2010, 2011, 2012.  A series of events flashed by and I was reminded of how fast time flies.  All I can say is that : I miss the USA! I miss Texas! I miss my friends over the other side of the world! December. For the past 3 months, I have been interning in one of the coolest company. One which teaches leadership and really practices it too. One with some really cool people who works hard and play even harder. One which believes in creativity, ideas, change and is not confined by any unreasonable 'traditions'. One which believes that leaders are not born, but are cultured. One which believes and brings out the best in you. This company called Leaderonomics, taught me values and unspoken cues that geared me towards excellence, most importantly, provides friendship which can last a lifetime. :) I am grateful of how I bumped into this position in the first place, Thanks to Jess - a wonderful spokesperson for Leaderonomics, just an afternoon chat with her already managed to convince me into checking out the company website and that followed by sending in my resume too. Just had a Skype session with Kent. So glad to be able to catch up with him after about 2+ months. It is always refreshing to hear him talk about Jesus. So blessed to have a friend who loves the Lord with all his heart and whose life just pours out fragrance of his passion for the Lord. We talked about everything from job, relationship, ministry to family, ICF, the ladies bible study... I asked him, "What is your secret of not getting worn out from serving?" He replied, "You know my answer :) " What I gathered from him was that: 1. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice! 2. the Joy of the Lord is my strength 3. Just get caught up with Jesus , look at him, not yourself, not other people. Just Him. I feel that recording down my Jabatan P.A. interview experience will be a good reference point to a lot other friends of mine.  Let's start this from the very beginning.  When I first came back from Texas and was told to 'Lapor Diri' and from there I have to apply for 5 governmental positions from the list that was given online.  I applied for 4 positions: Out of which, I was called for 2 of the interviews (Maybe more coming soon): 1. Khidmat Pelanggan N17 2. Pembangunan Masyarakat S17 I just went for Khidmat Pelanggan N17 interview today in Jalan Cenderasari. In the interview room, there was 2 men: 1 Indian, 1 Chinese.  Once I entered the room, the Indian officer was saying  "Ng right? Ng, I see that you have 10A's" confused and puzzled. I replied "10A's? for what? degree?..." then later i found out that they were talking about my SPM  (but still, I had 12A's for that, in which 2 were A2) Anyway, they str...

Ephesians 3: 16-19 I am really touched by the extract of bible passage that I read this morning.  I wonder, will I ever be able to comprehend the breadth and length and height and depth of God's love? It is so overwhelming just to think of it....

News of the day is that... I'm finally hearing back from JPA! Interview on September 11.  " NG JIA LERD  Puan,  PANGGILAN TEMU DUGA  (KEMENTERIAN KESIHATAN MALAYSIA DAN JABATAN PERKHIDMATAN AWAM)  " I've my own plans but ... "The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps." Prov 16:9 Afterall I've come back to serve my bond.  Let's see how God leads in this new emerging path. But I'd appreciate any prayers that I can get.  I guess i'll be praying for  1) peace 2) wisdom 3) obedience 4) direction 5) joy I thought this is a good phrase at the right time too: The mystery of surrendering. I like my job. learnt a lot. i like my colleague :)  i like the exposure, the flexibility.  Someone asked,  why not you apply for full time seeing that you're graduated?  Because I want to try it out and learn things first before settling down. Yea, you can learn as a full time too. you get paid very little as an intern you know? Yea. I know. Hmm. I really never thought of how little the pay is. But i think I'm blessed with my family in KL, with a place to stay and a car to drive.  I've more than enough reasons to be thankful for. My very cool looking office where I'm working in the Campus department. In House performance! A Jazz singer, Cheryl Tan came to perform live at our pantry. Spot the dents?  Got into a minor car accident after a week behind the wheels.  haaa. Thank God for His protection still.  The cab insurance better pay me back for the repairing work.
