Blessed Steps

WHy do we need to wait till a plane crash, a person dies or a tragedy only we realize how fragile life is? What is life all about? Why do we live and where are we heading after this? There is a hope that i have known which i Would love to share it! If Only everyone who knows of it can tell others about this good news, then less would be in despair and more would experience that Amazing Grace that i have found.

"Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10 I am blown away by the work of the Lord. Praise the Lord for yet another Salvation into His eternal kingdom! This lovely lady, whom I met a year ago in College Station, Texas. She came to Texas with her husband who was studying his PhD.  I remembered it was during 'Welcome to Texas' party that I was speaking to her in Mandarin and trying to make her feel comfortable amongst all other new faces.  Later on, I met her in a free English class in church.  She wasn't a Christian but she was attending this English language class consistently.  She was so friendly and insisted that I had helped her and that she wanted to treat me to a meal one day.  Sequencial happenings and we clicked and talked and went out for meals.  She's a wonderful lady.  All I did was to be her friend.  I told her about ICF- International Christia...

One word that came to me as I spend time with God today: BLESSING.  As I reflect upon my life, I am so blessed. and this shall not stop where it flows to. I am blessed to be a blessing. I pray that all of my life, my relationship, my family, all that i am and all that i have, will be a channel of blessing to ALL around me. Blessed Steps shall be Steps of Out-flowing Blessings. 

It's Fall 2013! I was browsing through my Photo Albums from Fall 2010, 2011, 2012.  A series of events flashed by and I was reminded of how fast time flies.  All I can say is that : I miss the USA! I miss Texas! I miss my friends over the other side of the world! December. For the past 3 months, I have been interning in one of the coolest company. One which teaches leadership and really practices it too. One with some really cool people who works hard and play even harder. One which believes in creativity, ideas, change and is not confined by any unreasonable 'traditions'. One which believes that leaders are not born, but are cultured. One which believes and brings out the best in you. This company called Leaderonomics, taught me values and unspoken cues that geared me towards excellence, most importantly, provides friendship which can last a lifetime. :) I am grateful of how I bumped into this position in the first place, Thanks to Jess - a wonderful spokesperson for Leaderonomics, just an afternoon chat with her already managed to convince me into checking out the company website and that followed by sending in my resume too. Just had a Skype session with Kent. So glad to be able to catch up with him after about 2+ months. It is always refreshing to hear him talk about Jesus. So blessed to have a friend who loves the Lord with all his heart and whose life just pours out fragrance of his passion for the Lord. We talked about everything from job, relationship, ministry to family, ICF, the ladies bible study... I asked him, "What is your secret of not getting worn out from serving?" He replied, "You know my answer :) " What I gathered from him was that: 1. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice! 2. the Joy of the Lord is my strength 3. Just get caught up with Jesus , look at him, not yourself, not other people. Just Him.
